Social Distancing Order Defied As People Shake Hands At Bernard Nyarko’s One Week Celebration

Due to the fast spread of the novel coronavirus across the globe many countries have put in place measures in curbing the spread of the virus and social distancing is one of the key measures.

The president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo in his numerous address to the state on coronavirus has announced that each Ghanaian observe social distancing order to prevent the spread of the virus but obviously it fell on deaf ears.

In a video monitored online, the many people who thronged in the apartment where the one week celebration of the late Bernard Nyarko was observed, were seen exchanging handshakes as well as standing and sitting closer to each other.

Despite most of them being in face mask its dangerous to be packed up like they did in the video. The President instructed that for any gathering to occur especially in the case of a funeral the number of people that should be present should be 25 maximum but that was over looked.
