Actress Yvonne Nelson has disclosed that she doesn’t belong to the National Patriotic Party as many claimed. According to her, the fact that she organised the ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ Demonstration when NDC was in power doesn’t mean she belongs to NPP.
When asked by Andy Dosty on Hitz FM whether she belongs to NPP, she said,
“The fact that i did the ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ Demonstration doesn’t mean i belong to NPP. I’ve not come out to tell anyone that i belong to Party A or Party B.”
On whether she was paid by the NPP to carry out the ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ Demonstration, she said,
“I wasn’t paid by anyone in the NPP to carry out that ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ Demonstration . I was feeling the effects of the Dumsor and i put it out on Twitter, that was how the ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ Demonstration came about”
