Pharmacist Victor Israel who was a medical personnel during the #EndSARS protest months ago had cried out about his financial state.
Israel who’s based in Rivers State received donations during the protest and helped to mobilize other medics who treated the protesters. His account was frozen by the Central Bank of Nigeria alongside that of the other front liners.
Taking to his Twitter page on Thursday, December 24 he revealed that this Christmas celebration is not looking good for him and his family because he does have any money.
“Exactly 2 months & 9days after CBN froze all my bank accounts because I gave medical assistance to #EndSARS protesters in PH. All my sweat, All my savings Gone 😣 This is so far the worst Christmas for me & my Family Omo! Abeg Who get Rice to give me? 😞”
This tweet has sparked reactions online, some have consoled him, other s have also questioned the fact that no Boko Haram terrorists account was frozen.
Some reactions read;
“Hmm … I’d have loved to assist … at least I’ve rice, but I’m presently in hiding … the @NigeriaGov is seriously searching for me with a lantern … in the day time. Shameless bunch! I’ll still reach out, if I can. You’re a gem to us, and by us, I mean, #EndSARS. 👏👏👏”
“Yet no single Boko harm sponsors account frozen”
“I don’t even know what to say anymore to be honest. Just stay strong bruh.”
