Popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has recounted how she struggled to get signed to record labels and she was turned down when she just started her career.
According to her, she went to different record labels at that time even Banky W’s Emoure Mates Entertainment but he told her no because he was about to work with Niyola.
Savage disclosed this in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Bounce Radio. Ebuka uploaded a video of the interview on his Twitter account on Tuesday, November 10.
” I went to Storm records but they told me ‘no’, I went to Banky W and he told me no because he was about to work with Niyola at that time.
” Then I told TJ and he was just like ‘how hard can it be let’s just set up a label.’
