Rapper MI Abaga is already acting weird all because Akon has described Wizkid as his little brother. However, the Nigerian musician has asked the African-American celebrated singer to refrain from making such pronouncement again.
In a tweet which has been spotted by Pinaxonline.com, Akon shared a photo of him and Wizkid, stating that the superstar Nigerian singer is his little brother.
He tweeted “Me and my lil bro @wizkidayo at AFRONATION Ghana!”
Reacting to the tweet, MI urged the ‘Don’t matter’ hitmaker never chill with the little brother comment
OG abeg chill with that lil bro yan https://t.co/pdHteEtZVW— Yung denzL (@MI_Abaga) December 30, 2019
Social media commentators went hard at him for his comments and despite the criticisms, he went further ahead to explain why he did what he did in a series of tweets… Check them out below.
I have an opinion: few African artists in diaspora actually did anything to REALLY help the movement.. as a fan of Wizkid (which I am) I don't see Wiz as lil bro to Akon.. he has overcome larger obstacles to accomplish way more (in my eyes).. In my opinion Wiz is lil bro to none— Yung denzL (@MI_Abaga) December 31, 2019
I have shared my opinion.. you don't agree. Cool!!! that caption should say 'with my bro and icon'.. again my opinion..— Yung denzL (@MI_Abaga) December 31, 2019
Value what we are.. what we have.. what we have accomplished over everything else.. that is how Africa will rise..— Yung denzL (@MI_Abaga) December 31, 2019
Everyone will be alright
