US Ambassador to Ghana urges John Mahama to go to court after a brief Meeting

Stephanie S Sullivan, the ambassador of United State to Ghana has urged the leader of the Opposition Party the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama to seek legal action if he feels he has been cheated off his Victory.

The US Ambassador met the Opposition leader and his running mate Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang on Thursday the 17th of December as they discussed the recent elections.

In a tweet on their Twitter handle they urged not only the Opposition leader and his running mate to go to court but also all political parties to pursue legal action rather than violence just to preserve the peace in Ghana.

They wrote: Ambassador Stephanie Sullivan met with former President @JDMahama
and discussed the recent elections. We continue to urge political parties to pursue legal channels for any electoral disputes and to preserve the peace in Ghana. #USinGhana
