Today, Monday 30th of March is the official starting date for the Lockdown in Ghana Greater cities (Accra and Kumasi) which was initiated by the Presidency as part of measures to halt the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Ghana. In cite of the spread of the Disease many Organisation have taken to give and donate out to Hospitals, Nurses, Government and needy people who can’t afford protective gears in times of fighting this virus.
Ex President also followed the same suit as he made some donations to Ridge Hospital, he said Quote “In response to concerns and reports received by my office of a shortage of badly needed personal protective equipment and also gum boots for medical personnel working at the Greater Accra Regional (Ridge) Hospital, I led the NDC COVID-19 Technical Team to present a quantity of medical items to the hospital on Sunday.
Mahama further congratulated the medical personnel, who are the country’s frontline defence against the coronavirus pandemic. The items we presented to the hospital included 100 full sets of PPE, 100 gum boots, 120 doctors scrubs, 50 patients gowns, 30 theatre gowns and 400 packs of bottled drinking water. Watch Video Below!
