To clear any doubts and fears from the minds of Ghanaians, the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, First Lady Rebecca Akufo and Second Lady Samira Bawumia have injected the codvid-19 vaccine on Monday 1st March 2020.
This took place at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on Monday.
“I decided to take it(vaccine) publicly to clear all doubts and urge everyone to also accept the vaccine’’, he stated.
Already a lot of Ghanaians have doubts about the authenticity of the vaccines and so taking the injection will go a long way to motivate others.
It’s important to state that this vaccine is safe by being the first to have it. Everybody in Ghana should feel comfortable about taking the vaccine. It is important that everybody at the end of the day is vaccinated. That is our objective”, the President added.
