Reports currently gathered by our outfit indicates that the NPP primaries which was ongoing at the Bantama Cultural Centre has actually been brought to a halt after a serious fight which led to the exchange of blows broke out.
Apparently, the main reason for the fight resulted when a polling agent representing the current MP for the constituency, Daniel Okyem Aboagye prevented the constituency Treasurer from voting because his status as an official of the Foreign Affairs Ministry does not qualify him to vote even though his name was in the album being used for the election.
Reports say the situation actually led to a brawl which saw some punches being thrown out at the polling station. But the good news was that security personnel present at the time of the fight were quick to resolve the situation which could have escalated allowing the treasurer to finally cast his vote.
