Report gathered by indicates that at least 44 individuals were squashed to death and in excess of 150 individuals harmed in a rush after 12 PM Thursday, April 29, at a religious bonfire festival in Israel.

The occurrence occurred at a mass social affair to celebrate the Lag B’Omer occasion at Mount Meron, Israel, medics said.

The injured were taken to the Ziv clinic in Safed, the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, Rambam emergency clinic in Haifa, Poriya emergency clinic in Tiberias, and Hadassah Ein Kerem clinic in Jerusalem.

The Ziv medical clinic said six of the injured had passed on and the Health Ministry affirmed that the all out loss of life was 44. Armed force Radio detailed that kids were among the dead and injured.

In the video recorded in an amphitheater close to the burial chamber of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai on Mount Meron, the group were seen dancing not long before the everything went down.
