Lovers of radio giant, Peace FM have been left in a state of disappointment after news broke that anchorman Kwadwo Dickson has resigned from the Despite Media Group.
Before his resignation, “Efiewura” as popularly referred was a newscaster at Peace FM and other Despite Media outfits, Okay FM, Neat FM and UTV.
In a video posted on his official Facebook page, Kwadwo Dickson was seen confirming to his fans about his exit from the Despite Media.
“It is true that I have resigned from Despite Media peacefully after eighteen (18) years of working with the company. Now is the time to move on to the next chapter”, he disclosed.
He was thankful to his former employer, Dr Osei Kwame, Management and staff of Peace FM for staying peacefully with him at the Abeka junction-based radion station.
“I sincerely thank the following people, Dr Osei Kwame Despite, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ernest Ofori Sarpong and Father Dickson. To my colleagues whom I met and those who also came and met me”, he said.
Ghanaguardian.com cannot exclusively reveal exactly where Kwadwo Dickson would be heading to but close sources say he is on his way to Accra-based Angel 102.9 FM, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) owned by business mogul Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
He won the Newscaster of the Year (Local Language) in the 2017 edition of Radio and TV Personality (RTP) Awards.
