Day 1 of the partial lock-down in Ghana saw some residents at Kasoa in the Awutu-Senya East Municipal being dealt with by officers of the Ghana Army for defying the directive in the wake of the spread of the coronavirus disease. Videos of these military men in action and disciplining citizens went viral yesterday with some commending the military for a good job done.

Well, Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu is not too happy with some of the punishments meted to Citizens nand has taken to his Instagram page to send a word of caution to the military as the virus is no respecter of persons talk of uniform.

In his own words he said;

I really want to urge the military and the police in Africa to exercise wisdom and patience. Let’s understand that this virus has taken everyone by storm so that means it’s not going to be an overnight change. Let’s not use this to bully and toss human beings around, but help them understand the seriousness of this matter … Also remember, there are mobile phones around that could make you trend in a bad way … And oh, pls practice social distancing amongst each other because you are not above the law and clearly this virus is not a respecter of uniform … question, what if that man you are holding has it?
