Thousands of Nigerians are currently very disappointed in the speech given by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, October 22.
In the speech that lasted few minutes Buhari didn’t address the Lekki massacre nor the numerous killings of protesters around the country. However, he urged Nigerians to quell the protests and wear face masks. He also addressed hunger and the ‘looting’ of palliatives.
This didn’t go down well with Nigerians as many of them have decided that it is about time to leave the country.
Currently on Nigerian Twitter, the hashtag ‘#Passport’ is trending. Tweeps have decided to dust their passports and move to any country, some have even said they are packing just two clothes.
Most of them tweeted;
“Wahala for who neo get international passport,
“I am ready to marry for red, blue or green card,
” Who has passport he/she is not using.”
