Wizkid Sets Another Record, Becomes The First African Musician To Hit 2 Billion Streams On Spotify

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He began recording music at the age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.

Wizkid keeps breaking and setting record as he has become the first African artist to hit 2 billion streams on the music streaming platform, Spotify and guess what, he sits at the 129th position on their artists chart history. As a results of his achievement, the musician has been congratulated by American OAP, Mike Adam via his official Twitter handle.
