Stonebwoy has been described as a hypocrite by some social media users
This follows the musicians reaction to NAM1’s first statement after being released from a Dubai cell
Dancehall musician Stonebwoy has come under fire on social media following his reaction to the first statement of Menzgold boss Nana Appiah Mensah after his reported victory in the Dubai court case.
The Menzgold boss popularly known as NAM 1 reportedly in a Dubai cell since November 2018 over a gold deal gone bad. A Dubai-based businessman had reported NAM1 for fraud in May 2018.
Unaware that he was on the Dubai police’s wanted list, Mr Mensah went to the Emirates with the hope of receiving a huge amount of money due him as a result of his earlier transactions with the Emirati, only to be arrested when he presented his passport to undergo immigration formalities.
He was subsequently processed for court over the deal which was said to be worth many millions of dollars.
Since his arrest, NAM1 has been off social media. But he bounced back on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, after and ordered the the other party to pay him all outstanding debts.
Few hours after the reported win, NAM1 took to his Instagram handle to post his own photo.
The caption of the photo read, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
One of the first people to have commented on Nana Appiah Mensah’s post was Stonebwoy who reacted with emojis of an eagle and power.
But Stonebwoy’s quick reaction has not sat well with some followers on social media who have branded him a hypocrite.
@wofa_19 started the hypocrisy talk: “@stonebwoyb you are very hypocrite..what did you do to support when he was away..is only shatta”
@_reggie_flex agreed to that Stonebwoy was a hypocrite:”@wofa_19 u are right … very hypocrite”
@ananse_kwakuu was more general;“Ghanafoc ne hypocrisy… them dey act like they love u apui…Mr NAM kindly let our innocent mothers have their money wae.”
But many others defended Stonebwoy sying he could have been supporting NAM1 behind the scenes.
