“Your Self Esteem Issues Has Nothing To With Nigerians !” Actress Yvonne Jegede Says As She Recounts Her Experience In Uganda.

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has recounted the experience she had in Uganda in 2013 when she went to shoot a film.

Yvonne said that she was labelled proud when she said she didn’t know any Ugandan artiste. She also revealed that with every statement they made to her the always accompanied it with “you Nigerians are very proud”

Recall that Nigerians are currently displeased with Ugandan after they arrested and remanded musicians Omah Lay, Tems and their manager, Muyiwa after they performed in a concert in Uganda.

Taking to her Twitter page on Wednesday, December 16, Yvonne told Ugandans that their self-esteem issues have nothing to do with Nigerians and she’s proud of the country she came from.

She tweeted;

“I was in #Uganda in 2013 to shoot a film, after every sentence came “you Nigerians are very proud”, even when I said I didn’t know any Ugandan artist I was labeled proud. I am proud of where I come from, your self esteem issues has nothing to with Nigerians #FreeTemsAndOmahLay”
